DESCRIPTION:
Wolver Ecotec SAE 5W-20 is a fully synthetic, high-performance, Resource Conserving (RC) motor oil specially formulated for modern gasoline engines, including those with Turbocharged Gasoline Direct Injection (TGDI) and hybrid systems. Based on the latest additive technology and premium base oils, it meets the most stringent industry standards, including API SP (RC) and ILSAC GF-6A, ensuring superior wear protection and enhanced fuel economy.
Application:
Wolver Ecotec SAE 5W-20 is recommended for year-round use in modern gasoline engines (including turbocharged, direct injection, and multi-valve types) requiring the SAE 5W-20 viscosity class and adherence to the latest API SP or ILSAC GF-6A standards. It is perfectly suited for a wide range of vehicles from Ford, GM, Chrysler, and most Asian manufacturers such as Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Mazda, Hyundai, and Kia.
BENEFITS:
- Maximum LSPI Protection: Prevents Low-Speed Pre-Ignition, which is critical for the durability of modern TGDI engines.
- Fuel Economy: Delivers reduced friction and verified Resource Conserving properties, lowering fuel consumption.
- Quick Cold Start: Guarantees instantaneous engine lubrication during cold starts, significantly reducing wear in the first seconds of operation.
- Extended Engine Life: Effectively protects the timing chain against wear and deposit formation (Chain Wear Protection).
- Broad Application: Ideal for the majority of American and Asian vehicles, including the newest models requiring GM dexos1 Gen 3 and Ford WSS-M2C 960-A1.
